Description

Civil War patriotic token combining Fuld obverse die 248, a design inscribed "THE CONSTITUTION" or with constitutional references, with reverse die 432 bearing the uncompromising inscription "NO COMPROMISE WITH TRAITORS". This hardline slogan rejected any negotiated settlement with the Confederacy. This die range includes naval subjects, constitutional themes, Masonic imagery, and commercial designs.
