Description

Class VIII, Tilted Hub Doubling Class VIII doubling shows on the left portion of the top of the center steps and on the tops of the letters N and T of MONTICELLO. Die Markers: Obverse: Die gouge to left of Jefferson's right eye near hairline. Reverse: Die gouge above large semicircular window; die gouge in upper portion of F of OF; die gouge between first U and R of PLURIBUS; die clash above IC of MONTICELLO.
