Description

Class VIII, Tilted Hub Doubling     "Best Of" Nickel Doubled Die Varieties Class VIII doubling shows above the center steps, on the tops of the letters TICE of MONTICELLO, E PLURB of E PLURIBUS and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, and on both sides of the building. Die Markers: Obverse: Die gouge in field between D of GOD and rim; die gouge in field below R of TRUST. Reverse: Die gouge inside lower right portion of N of UNUM; die gouge in field to lower right of M of MONTICELLO.
