Error
Description
Doubling shows in the windows in the arch above the center doorway. It shows at the top of the third and fourth windows from the left in the bottom row of windows. Die Markers: Obverse: Multiple die chips above and left of the J in the designer's initials JF. NW/SE die scratches above the TY in LIBERTY and in front of the face. Die pitting above the GO in GOD. Multiple die gouges between the D in GOD and the W and WE. Die gouge NE of the E in WE. Die gouge touches the bust above the right side of the T in QUARTER. Die gouge above the right side of the C in AMERICA. Large die gouge below the N in UNITED. Reverse: Feeder finger scrapes through and above the left roof. Long NW/SE die scratches through the lower right corner of the building. Series of small dots runs NW/SW above the N'S in BROWN'S. Die gouge between the J and O in JOHN. Die gouge far right of the S in BROWN'S.
