Description
Doubling shows in the windows in the arch above the center doorway. It shows in the third window from the left in the bottom row of windows. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: None significant. Obverse Stage B: A die chip can be found on the top of the J in the designer’s initials. Obverse Stage C: Incredibly large rim cud on the entire lower right quarter of the obverse. Die damage near the rim cud right of IGWT. Die gouge left of the A in QUARTER. Die gouge right of the top of the O in DOLLAR. Stage C die gouges may be present in earlier stages. Reverse Stage A: None significant. Reverse Stage B: Same as Stage A. Reverse Stage C: Die chip on the right side of the left roof. Large die gouge right of the top of the guard tower. Stage C gouge may be present in earlier stages.
