2016 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-068
Error
Description
Doubling shows in the windows in the arch above the center doorway. It shows in the third and fourth windows from the left in the bottom row of windows. It shows in the third, and fourth windows from the left in the second row from the bottom. Die Markers: Obverse: Weak die crack on the base of the bust above the last R in QUARTER. Large die gouge above the left side of the R in LIBERTY. Multiple die gouges between the bottoms of the A and R in DOLLAR. Multiple die gouges left of the first T in TRUST. Die gouge below the M in AMERICA. Die gouge left of the top of the R in AMERICA. Two gouges between the I and C in AMERICA. Die gouge near the lower inside part of the C in AMERICA. Reverse: Thin, curved N/S die scratch in the left opening of the guard tower. Large die gouge above the V in VIRGINIA. Die gouge below the left side of the H in the designer's initials PH. Small die gouge far SW of the designer's initials TRH.
