Error
Description
Doubling shows in the windows in the arch above the center doorway. It shows in the third window from the left in the bottom row of windows. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Die crack extends SW from the J in the designer's initials JF. Die gouge between the A and R in QUARTER. Small die gouge left of the top of the last L in DOLLAR. Die gouge above the right side of the B in LIBERTY. Two die gouges between the T and Y in LIBERTY. Long die gouges inside and right of the U in UNITED. Die gouge left of the top right side of the M in AMERICA. Obverse Stage B: Stage A markers may or may not be present. A die chip can be found just above the designer’s initials. Obverse Stage C: Same as Stage B. Reverse Stage A: Pre-die break depression on the right side of the left roof. Die chip on the lower right side of the building. Die gouge left of the R in FORT. Die gouge below the left side of the H in JOHN. Die gouge above the guard tower roof. Reverse Stage B: Stage A markers may or may not be present. A die chip can be found on the right side of the left roof. A die chip can be found near the bottom of the down spout above the designer’s initials PH. Reverse Stage C: A die chip can be found on the left side of the left roof.
