Description
Doubling shows above the right end of the middle grass strip between the great egret and the great blue heron.Die Markers: Obverse: Die crack across the base of the bust and through the designer's initials JF. Small die gouge inside the O in GOD. Reverse: Multiple die gouges left of the heron's neck.Submitted By: George W. Powell, Jr.Cross References: None knownComments: This is a replacement listing. Long curved die scratch through the QUAR in QUARTER. Die gouge above the first L in DOLLAR. Die gouge touches the bottom of the U in UNITED. Reverse: NW/SE die scratches through the left end of the middle grass strip between the heron and egret. Die gouge in the field ESE of the egret's beak. Small die gouge in the field above the right side of the R in DELAWARE.
