Description
Doubling shows along the left side and top left of window R2. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: None significant. Obverse Stage B: A die crack runs along the base of the bust with die chips north of the R in QUARTER and the DO in DOLLAR. Obverse Stage C: Same as Stage B. Reverse Stage A: None significant. Reverse Stage B: A die chip can be found near the top of the right ear of corn NE of the M in UNUM. A die chip can be found near the top of the left ear of corn between the outer leave and the hair at the top of the ear of corn. A small die break can be found above the upper left roof. A massive die break runs along most of the right roof. A die break can be found on the top right of the upper window array. Reverse Stage C: A die chip can be found on the bottom of the right ear of corn SW of the designer’s initials JL. A die chip can be found on the bottom of the left ear of corn SE of the designer’s initials RE. A large die break can be found on the upper left roof.
