2012P-1DER-010T Trail Die Reverse

Description

This die has three sets of directional trails. The first set, which is the major set, can be seen from the tops of the letters in R PLURIBUS UNUM and the NI of UNITED. This set has an offset direction of 000°. The second set of trail lines is seen from the D of UNITED and the ST of STATES. This set has an offset direction of 060°. The third set, which is seen from the bottom of the designer’s initials JFM, has an offset direction of 200°.

Die Markers

• Stage “C“, obverse is LDS – a large die crack is seen in the top of Lincoln’s head.
• Reverse is LDS – a die chip is seen on the upper left edge of the shield above the letter B in PLURIBUS.
