2009 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-047
Error
Description
Slight doubling shows on the underside of log end #9. This variety is very similar to EC WDDR-020. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Die scratches run SSW and south from the bottom left N of IN. Two pre-die crack depressions run WNW and NW through the eyebrow into the forehead. Obverse Stage B: A short pre-die crack depression can be found in the hair on the upper back of the head below the GO of GOD. A die crack runs from NE to SW through the left side of the bowtie. Reverse Stage A: Numerous short die scratches run NE from the right side of the cabin. Reverse Stage B: A die crack curves NW from the lower left J in JL. A die crack runs ESE from the bottom left of the L in JL to the rim. A die crack runs from the rim along the left side of the diagonal bar of the N in CENT. A die chip can be found on the upper end of this die crack. A die crack runs SE from the bottom right of the M in RM.
