Description
Doubling of the lower right saddle horn can be seen protruding from the horse’s mane directly below the saddle horn. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: A short, diagonal die gouge can be found between the bottoms of the U and N in UNITED. A die gouge can be found to the left of the upper E in AMERICA. Obverse Stage B: A die crack runs across the base of the bust extending into the field to the left of the front point of the bust. A die chip can be found on the die crack to the left of the front point of the bust. Reverse Stage A: A short, vertical die gouge can be found to the left of the 1st U in UNUM. Reverse Stage B: A pre-die chip depression can be found above the left side of the cowboy’s hat.
