Description
Doubling shows between the 1st and 2nd locks of hair on the horse’s mane below the saddle horn. Die Markers: Obverse: A die crack runs across the base of the bust and through the upper designer’s initials. Small die chips can be found on both sides of the top of the F in JF. A die crack runs from NNE to SSW down the front of the nose ending on the tip of the nose. Reverse: A large die chip can be found on the upper right side of the T in EQUALITY. A small die chip can be found on the bottom left side of the 2nd T in STATE. A short, diagonal die gouge can be found below the U in EQUALITY. Obverse:
