2007 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-049
Error
Description
Doubling shows on the left side of the 2nd lock of hair on the horse’s mane below the saddle horn. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: A small die gouge can be found below the left side of the G in GOD. A small die gouge can be found below the R in TRUST. A die scratch runs ENE from the top of the I in LIBERTY. Obverse Stage B: Large die chips can be found near the front point of the base of the bust. A die crack runs from NE to SW through the lower nose and into the field below the nose. Reverse Stage A: A short, vertical die gouge can be found to the right of the lower I in WYOMING. Die pitting can be found between the zero in 1890 and the N in WYOMING. A die gouge can be found north of the T in EQUALITY. A pre-die chip depression can be found above the left side of the cowboy’s hat. A pre-die break depression can be found to the left of the lower part of the horse’s tail. Reverse Stage B: A die chip can be found between the top’s of the T and Y in EQUALITY.
