Description
Doubling shows on the horse’s mane directly below the right side of the saddle horn. Doubling also shows on the left side of the 1st lock of hair on the horse’s mane just below the saddle horn. Die Markers: Obverse: Two short die scratches run NNE from the top right side of the N in UNITED. A small die gouge can be found below the P mint mark. A light die crack runs across the base of the bust and through the upper designer’s initials. A pre-die crack depression runs NE from the front of the eyebrow. Reverse: A small die gouge (dot) can be found to the left of the center of the O in WYOMING. A small die gouge (dot) can be found to the right of the upper 1 in 1890. A die gouge can be found above and between the E and 2nd N of NEN. Obverse:
