Description

Doubling shows along the upper right side of the saddle horn. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: A die gouge can be found to the right of the top of the 2nd L in DOLLAR. A die crack runs NE from the eyebrow. A light die crack runs across the left side of the base of the bust and then west into the field. Obverse Stage B: A die chip fills the upper R in TRUST. Reverse Stage A: A light pre-die chip depression shows above the left side of the cowboy’s hat. Two die gouges cans be found to the left of the bottom of the horse’s tail. Two pre-die break depressions can be found to the left of the upper part of the horse’s tail and to the left of the lower part of the horse’s tail. Reverse Stage B: Part of the depression along the left side of the horse’s tail has broken away into a die break on the lower left side of the tail.
