. DIE MARKERS: Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – a long die scratch is seen from the top of the left arm of the Y in LIBERTY to the back of Lincoln’s head. Reverse is MDS – a die scratch is seen over the E of STATES. NOTE: This die was found by Robert A. Garren. Photos are by Chuck Daughtrey of Coppercoins.
