Error
Description
Moderate step deviation is seen under columns 5 through 8, with emphasis on the left side. This die is also coupled with a minor doubled die obverse. SPECIAL NOTE: The obverse die has doubling on the word LIBERTY as seen in the notching on the top left portions of the T and Y of LIBERTY. There is also some extra thickness on the left arm of the Y.
Die Markers
- Stage “A”, obverse is EDS – small die gouge in the second zero of the date and under the 6 of the date. Minor doubled die on the RTY of LIBERTY. Large vertical die scratch through the E of LIBERTY
- Reverse is EDS – none observed.
