This 2006 yellow bronze medal at 76mm honors the Tuskegee Airmen in the U.S. Mint's larger format Congressional Gold Medal duplicate. The 76mm version provides a display-quality tribute to the approximately 1,000 African American pilots and 15,000 ground personnel who served in the Tuskegee Airman program during World War II.
