Description
Doubling shows on the lower left side of the 7th Memorial column to the right of the statue’s upper legs. Doubling also shows on the right sides of both of the upper legs of the statue. Die Markers: Obverse: A small die gouge touches the top of the B in LIBERTY. A small die gouge touches the lower right side of the N of IN. Reverse: A small die gouge touches the lower left side of the I in UNITED. A die gouge can be found to the right of the upper T in CENT. A small die gouge can be found above the left side of the O in ONE. A short, diagonal die gouge can be found on the left Memorial base. Obverse:
