Description

Bar extended from the bottom of the hand to the lower knee to the left of the statue on the sixth column and an extra knee can be found between the knees. Die Markers: Obverse: A die gouge can be found at the rim below Lincoln's bust. Reverse: A die gouge can be found to the right of the upper C of AMERICA. A die gouge can be found within the lower C of CENT. Submitted By: Steve Young Cross References: None known Comment: The doubling on this die is nearly identical to 2000 1¢ WDDR-068, with the exception of a doubled knee on the current die. Obverse: None noted. Reverse: Several small die gouges can be found in the lower left side of the fifth Memorial bay. A die gouge can be found to the right of the bottom of the left upright of the first A of AMERICA. A minute die gouge can be found just left of the upper M of AMERICA. A die gouge can be found above the right side of the first U of PLURIBUS. A minute die gouge can be found left of the middle of the O of ONE. A die gouge can be found within the lower right side of the O of ONE.
