Description

Bar extended from below the hand to the lower knee to the left of the statue on the sixth column. Die Markers: Obverse: None noted. Reverse: Several small die gouges can be found in the lower left side of the fifth Memorial bay. A die gouge can be found to the right of the bottom of the left upright of the first A of AMERICA. A minute die gouge can be found just left of the upper M of AMERICA. A die gouge can be found above the right side of the first U of PLURIBUS. A minute die gouge can be found left of the middle of the O of ONE. A die gouge can be found within the lower right side of the O of ONE. Submitted By: Steve Young Cross References: None known Comment: The doubling on this die is nearly identical to 2000 1¢ WDDR-069, with the exception of a doubled knee on 2000 1¢ WDDR-069. Obverse: Minute die gouges can be found below the first zero of the date. Two die gouges can be found to the right of the last zero of the date. A die gouge can be found inside the lower O of GOD. A die gouge can be found above the left side of the D of GOD. Reverse: A die gouge can be found on the lower right side of the left upright of the N of UNITED.
