Moderate step deviation is seen under column 5, 6, 7 and 8, as well as trail lines passing through the stylobate under column 12. Also noted are trail lines from the designer’s initials and the N of ONE. The offset direction for these trail lines is 180 degrees.

Die Markers

• Stage “C “, obverse is LDS – a die dot is seen over the left side of the U in TRUST. A die crack is seen from Lincoln’s ear into the hair.Reverse is LDS – a die gouge is seen under the designer’s initials. A die crack is seen from the lower left serif of the E in CENT to the rim.
