Description
A dual directional, combination trail die. Trail lines are seen from the top left corners of the letters in the EPU and the left corners of the roof and cornice. The offset direction is 350 degrees. The other part of this combination is a wavy step with moderate step deviation seen under columns 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. Also seen is fluting line extension under column 3. The offset direction is 180 degrees.
Die Markers
- Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – a die gouge is seen above the T of LIBERTY.
- Reverse is MDS – two die gouges are seen just below the N of CENT.
