1999P-1DER-063WST Trail Die Reverse

Description

A massive trail die with both elements on the same die. Fluting line extension can be seen entering into the stylobate under column 2, 3, 10 and 11. Step deviation can be seen under columns 5, 6, 7 and 8. Trail lines can be seen faintly on the bottom corners of the letters TATE of STATES. Slightly stronger trail lines are seen from some of the letters in EPU. Trail lines are also seen on the U of UNITED and the NE of ONE. The offset direction for all lines is 190 degrees.

Die Markers

• Stage “C”, obverse die is LDS – a small be dot can be seen between the I and N of IN. A die gouge is seen above the VDB.
• Reverse die is LDS – none noted.
