Description
Strong fluting line extension, into the stylobate, under columns 2 and 3. Very strong step deviation under columns 5 through 9 and to the bottom step under some columns. Some step deviation under the left post (urn). All lines have an offset direction of 200 degrees.
Die Markers
- Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – die clash just above Lincoln’s collar. North to south die scratches are seen from the top of the T in LIBERTY. Die chip on Lincoln’s chin
- Reverse is MDS – die damage on reverse of this coin precludes finding any viable die markers.
