Description

This is one trail die that can easily be missed if the lighting is not correct when viewed. Trail lines are seen from the two Ts and the last s of STATES, all the top left corners of the letters in EPU, the left tops of the center columns and some of the scrolling in the cornice. The offset direction is 330º.

Die Markers

  • Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – die crack from Lincoln’s eye, up through his hair and into the field above his head.
  • Reverse is MDS – small die gouge under the diagonal bar of the N in ONE.
