Description

Strong fluting line extension, into the stylobate, under columns 2 and 3. Moderate step deviation is seen under columns 5 through 8. DIE MARKERS : Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – none observed Reverse is MDS – extra column 7 on left side of Lincoln’s chair. Die scratch through the right corner of the cornice. NOTE : The extra 7th column does make this die a doubled die.
