Description
Bar extended from middle of the head to the upper hand to the left of the statue on the sixth column. Die Markers: Obverse: A die gouge can be found below the I of IN. Numerous die scratches run NE/SW throughout the fields above and below LIBERTY, in the fields around the date, as well as through the shoulder and bust. Reverse: A die gouge can be found just right of the statue’s neck. Two die gouges can be found below the left memorial base. A die gouge can be found inside the lower N of CENT. A die gouge can be found to the right of the middle of the upright of the T of CENT. A die gouge can be found between the lower aspect of the M and E of AMERICA.
