Description
Bar extended from the shoulder to upper knee to the left of the statue on the sixth column. Die Markers: Obverse: A curving die scratch extends from the top front of Lincoln's hair to the bottom of the W of WE. A die gouge can be found a bit below the I of IN. Several large die gouges can be found directly south of I of IN. A die gouge can be found on the mid-lapel well below the buttonhole. Reverse: Die scratches run NW/SE through the right side of and left of C of CENT. Numerous die scratches run WNW/ESE through and above CENT. A die clash can be found on the lower right side of the fourth memorial column. Die scratches run ESE from U and N of UNITED through the first two memorial bays.
