Description

Slight doubling shows on the right side of the 6th Memorial column to the left of the statue’s knees. Slight doubling shows on the left side of the 7th Memorial column to the right of the statue’s legs. Doubling shows on the left side of both of the statue’s upper legs. Die Markers: Obverse: A die gouge can be found well north of the L in LIBERTY. A die gouge can be found below and between the first two 9’s in the date. Reverse: A die gouge protrudes from the top right side of the 1st U in UNUM. A die gouge can be found to the right of the bottom of the 2nd A in AMERICA. A short, vertical die gouge can be found to the right of the bottom of the E in ONE. Double die clash marks can be found in the upper 4th Memorial bay and the lower 9th Memorial bay. Obverse:
