Description
Doubling shows on the lower left side of the 7th Memorial column to the right of the statue’s legs. An extra statue leg can be seen between the normal legs of the statue. Die Markers: Obverse: None noted. Reverse: A short die gouge extends south from the top left 1st T in STATES. A small die gouge (dot) can be found to the right of the center of the last Memorial column. Damage (surface scratches) show on the left side of the statue’s legs and run into the 6th Memorial column. These should not be confused with doubling or die markers. Obverse:
