1999 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-027
ErrorDescription
Doubling shows on the left side of the 7th column to the right of the statue’s legs. Slight doubling also shows between the statue’s upper legs. Die Markers: Obverse: Numerous SW/NE die scratches can be found to the left of the back of the head. Reverse: A die clash is present in the lower right memorial bay 8 and from under the right memorial base centered above EN in CENT. Two small die gouges are present close together below the second T and E in STATES. A small die gouge (dot) is present centered a bit above R and I in PLURIBUS. The 1998 reverse hub marker can be seen above the left side of N in UNUM. Several die gouges can be found left of and above F in FG. A die gouge can be found inside the lower N in CENT. A die chip can be found on the lower portion of the stereobate above the left memorial base near and positioned just left of the left side of the first memorial column.
