UDC-1c-1996-02R Unusual Die Crack

Description

This Die Crack is unusual because of the location of the crack(s) and the length which runs from the rim above the “A” in AMERICA down to the top of the “N” in CENT. Note the die chip at the top of the 9th bay of the memorial. UDC-1c-1996-02R   This Die Crack is unusual because of the location of the cracks.  One runs from the rim above the “o” in oF to the top of the Memorial 9th column.  The other from the rim up to the Memorial to the 10th column. If the die cracks did meet this coin would have been a Bisecting Rim to Rim Die “RRDC”. 10/13/2018.
