Description

Moderate trail lines are seen from the interior letters in EPU. Also seen are trail lines on some of the letters in UNITED, STATES, CENT and ONE. There is also step deviation under columns 5, 6, 7 and 8, with a moderate fluting line extension seen under column 10. All trail lines seen have an offset direction of 160 degrees.

Die Markers

• Stage “C”, obverse is LDS – light die scratching is seen in front of Lincoln’s nose and Adam’s apple.
• Revere is LDS – small die anomaly in the lower part of bay 9. Lincoln’s statue has lines forming from the top of his head.
