Description
Moderate fluting line extension is seen entering the stylobate under columns 2 and 3. Moderate step deviation occurs under columns 5, 6, 7 and 8. The offset direction is 190 degrees
Die Markers
- Stage “C”, obverse is LMDS – diagonal die scratching is seen through the date and LIBERTY. More than likely, this die pair did not start together for the obverse die appears to be abraded to remove a die clash which the reverse does not have.
- Reverse is LDS – three die chips in column 2. Die scratch on the upper terminus of the C in AMERICA.
