Description
Trails can be seen on the TE of STATES, OF. on some of the letters of EPU, on the corner of the levels on the stylobate, the designer’s initials, the T of CENT and the top of the left URN. What is unusual with this die is the splits on the floor seen under the right side columns. This die was found by Joe Koelling of North Carolina and it is considered a major trail die. The offset direction is 070 degrees. DIE MARKERS : Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – small die gouge under the VDB. Reverse is MDS – die gouge under the lower horizontal bar of the E in ONE.
