Description

Moderate, mushy trail lines are seen from the bottom left corners of the letters in LIBERTY. Also seen are trail lines, in the same direction, from the bottom of the digits in the date. The offset direction is 200 degrees. DIE MARKERS : Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – a small die gouge is seen to the right of the first T in TRUST. Reverse is VLDS – a die crack is seen from the left corner of the roof, through the D of UNITED and into the rim. Another die crack is seen from the right corner of the cornice, through the R of AMERICA and into the rim. Heavy, horizontal die scratching is present on the reverse.
