1983P-1DEO-008T Trail Die Obverse

Description

Particularly strong trails die for the obverse. Moderate to strong trail lines are seen from the tops of the letters in LIBERTY, and IN GOD WE TRUST. The offset direction is 340 degrees. DIE MARKERS : Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – none noted. Reverse is MDS – a die gouge is seen in the lower crotch of the N in CENT. Another die gouge is seen on the bottom of the left leg to the rim. There are vertical die scratches seen in the field to the right of the Memorial building. NOTE : This die was found by Jeremy Gardner.
