Description

Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingA close spread toward the center shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and E PLURIBUS UNUM, increasing from left to right. Doubling also shows on the right side of the building and ELLO of MONTICELLO. Die Markers: Obverse: The obverse is a doubled die listed as 1971-S Pr 5c WDDO-027. Reverse: Faint vertical die scratch above long right window; two almost vertical die scratches in lower portion of left arch.
