Description
Class II + V, Distorted and Pivoted Hub DoublingA nice spread toward the center shows on STATES OF AMERICA and the right side of the building. A closer spread shows on CENTS and ELLO of MONTICELLO. These spreads increase from left to right. A close CCW spread shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM from a pivot at approximately 6 oclock. Die Markers: Obverse: The obverse is a doubled die listed as 1971-S Pr 5c WDDO-021. Reverse: Die gouge under center crossbar of F of OF; die gouge (dot) to left of small right semi-circular arch below dome.
