Description
Class II + V!, Distorted and Distended Hub DoublingA very nice spread toward the center combined with extra thickness shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM, STATES OF AMERICA, FIVE CENTS, ICELLO and the right side of the building. All spreads increase from left to right. Some evidence of tripling is seen in the extra thickness. Die Markers: Obverse: None noted. Reverse: Strong vertical die gouge between upper portions of I and B of PLURIBUS; die gouge between center of A and M of AMERICA; two strong horizontal die scratches on left side of roof below dome.
