Description

Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingA close spread toward the rim shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM, decreasing from left to right.  An extremely close spread shows on OF AMERICA, increasing from left to right.  Slight doubling shows on the upper dome details. Die Markers: Obverse: The obverse is a doubled die listed as 1971-S Pr 5c WDDO-018. Reverse: Strong crossing die gouges through porch to left of dome.
