Description

Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingA nice spread toward the center shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, FIVE CENTS, ELLO of MONTICELLO and the right side of the building increasing from left to right.  A close constant spread shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM. Die Markers: Obverse: Die crack across base of bust and over designer’s initials. Reverse: Die gouge (dot) on upper half of first S of STATES; die gouge (dot) to right of center of long left window; die gouge (small dot) just above and to right of small left window.
