Description

Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingA spread toward the center shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM, decreasing from left to right.  Doubling also shows on STATES OF AMERICA and ELLO of MONTICELLO, as well as on the right side of the building, increasing from left to right.  Very slight doubling shows on the left side of the building. Die Markers: Obverse: The obverse is a doubled die listed as 1971-S Pr 5c WDDO-015 and a RPM listed as 1971-S Pr 5c WRPM-002. Reverse: Several die scratches parallel to rim through and above upper portions of NUM of UNUM.
