Description
Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingA nice spread toward the center shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM and most details on the right side of the building. A closer spread shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, CENTS and ELLO of MONTICELLO. All spreads increase from left to right. Die Markers: Obverse: The obverse is a doubled die listed as 1971-S Pr 5c WDDO-011. Reverse: Slanted die scratch above and to left of long left window; short die gouge under base of building above U of UNITED.
