Description

Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingA very nice spread toward the center shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, FIVE CENTS, MONTICELLO and nearly all of the building with spreads increasing from left to right.  Doubling shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM where it decreases from left to right. Die Markers: Obverse: The obverse is a doubled die listed as 1971-S Pr 5c WDDO-001. Reverse: Vertical die scratch between right window and arch.
