Description

Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingA nice spread toward the rim shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. A closer spread shows on FIVE CENTS, MONTICELLO and the right side of the building. All spreads increase from left to right. Die Markers: Obverse: Die gouge (dot) on front of collar. Reverse: Short horizontal die gouge from upper left tip of E of E PLURIBUS UNUM; vertical die gouge below E of E PLURIBUS UNUM.
