Description

Class VI, Distended Hub Doubling     "Best Of" Nickel Doubled Die VarietiesA strong spread toward the center shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM.  A closer spread shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, FIVE CENTS and both sides of the building.  All spreads are constant. Die Markers: Obverse: Die gouge (dot) between L and I of LIBERTY. Reverse: Two die gouges above first U of UNUM; die gouge below and between N and second U of UNUM.
