1964 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-050

Description

Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingThis variety was formerly listed as WDDR-179.  It replaces the original WDDR-050 listing which was delisted because it was a doubled working hub (See WWHR-001 below).  A close Class II spread toward the center shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, FIVE CENTS, and MON of MONTICELLO, decreasing from left to right. Die Markers: Obverse: Small die dot on Jefferson's neck above back portion of collar. Reverse: Small die dot between lower portions of E and P of E PLURIBUS; very small die dot above C of CENTS.
